Troubleshooting Phaser 750 Printers Consumables messages Symptom Possible Causes Solution MPT: The printer detects media in the Multi-Purpose Tray and is waiting for information on the type of media. s Scroll through the selections to choose the media type you have loaded in the Multi-Purpose Tray. :low The indicated color Toner Cartridge is almost empty. s Change the Toner Cartridge soon. Stopped: replace Indicated color Toner Cartridge Replace the indicated color Toner is empty. Cartridge now; the printer stops until you replace the cartridge. missing A Toner Cartridge is missing. Install the indicated color Toner Cartridge. Imaging unit:replace The Imaging Unit is wearing out. Replace the Imaging Unit soon. Imaging unit expired The Imaging Unit is worn out. Replace the Imaging Unit now. Fuser:replace The Fuser is wearing out. Replace the Fuser soon. Fuser expired The Fuser is worn out. Replace the Fuser now; although it continues to function, the print quality is affected. Fuser Roll:replace The Fuser Roll is worn out. Replace the Fuser Roll now. Transfer Kit:replace The Transfer Kit is worn out. Replace the Transfer Kit. Main Charge Grid: replace Replace the Main Charge Grid soon. Media Tray: empty Refill the media tray. If your printer has a Lower Tray Assembly, the choices include Upper, Middle, or Lower. Tek Transparency: OK Media has been loaded in the Multi-Purpose Tray; select that media type in the front panel. Press the arrows to scroll to the appropriate media type; press OK. Other messages Symptom Error ## Energy Star Mode Wake Up Menu Possible Causes An error occurred that may be user-correctable. The printer is in energy/conservation mode. Solution s Press the front panel's Info button for more information on the problem. Press the button labeled More for suggestions on correcting the problem. s Use the information in Error codes on page 80 to correct the problem. If the error persists, use the TekSMART knowledgebase at www2.tek.com/TekSMART/.
