These connectors support up to four Serial ATA hard disk drives that you can configure as a disk array through the onboard SATA RAID controller. Refer to Chapter 5 for details on how to set up Serial ATA RAID configurations. These connectors are set to R A I D M o d e by default. If you want to connect Serial ATA boot/data hard disk drives to these connectors, set the S i l i c o n I m a g e C o n t r o l l e r item in the BIOS to [SATA Mode].
