4.4.4 CPU Configuration The items in this menu show the CPU-related information that the BIOS automatically detects. Configure advanced CPU Settings Manufacturer : Intel Brand String : Genuine Intel (R) CPU 3.20GHz Frequency : 3200 MHz FSB Speed : 800 MHz Cache L1 Cache L2 Cache L3 : 16 KB : 1024 KB : 0 KB Ratio Status: Unlocked Ratio Actual Value : 16 Ratio CMOS Setting: HyperThreading Function Microcode Updation: Max CPUID Value Limit: Enhanced C1 Control CPU Internal Thermal Control [ 19] [Enabled] [Enabled] [Disabled] [Auto] [Auto] Intel(R) SpeedStep Technology [Automatic] Sets the ratio between CPU Core Clock and the FSB Frequency. NOTE: If an invalid ratio is set in CMOS then actual and setpoint values may differ. Ratio CMOS Setting [19] Sets the ratio between the CPU Core Clock and the Front Side Bus frequency. The default value of this item is auto-detected by BIOS. Use the or keys to adjust the values. You can only adjust the R a t i o C M O S setting if you installed an unlocked CPU. Refer to the CPU documentation for details. HyperThreading Function [Enabled] Allows you to enable or disable the processor Hyper-Threading Technology. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] CPU Lock Free [Auto] Allows you to adjust the CPU multiplier to 14x. Setting this item to [Auto] allows the motherboard to automatically reduce the CPU multiplier value for more flexibility when increasing the external FSB. This item appears only when you install a processor that supports the Lock Free feature.
