Clip Operations Adding Shot Marks During playback, you can add a shot mark (!) to frames that you want to set apart in an XF-AVC clip. Operating modes: 147 Adding Shot Marks during Playback To add a shot mark to a clip during playback or playback pause, you must first set an assignable button to [Add Shot Mark] in advance. 1 Set an assignable button to [Add Shot Mark] (A 125). 2 During playback or playback pause, press the assignable button at the point in the clip to add the shot mark. • A message indicating the shot mark appears on the screen and the shot mark is added to the clip. • Adding a shot mark to a clip during playback will pause the playback. NOTES • Up to 100 shot marks can be added to a single clip. • There may be up to a 0.5 second delay between the frame shown when you press the assignable button and the frame to which the camera adds the shot mark. Deleting All Shot Marks in a Clip from the Index Screen Operating modes: 1 Select the desired clip and then press the joystick to open the clip menu. 2 Select [Del. All Shot Marks] and then press the joystick. • The clip information screen appears and it prompts you to confirm the operation. 3 Select [OK] and then press the joystick. • All shot marks in the selected clip are deleted and the screen changes back to the previous index screen. Deleting Clips You can delete clips from a CFast or SD card one at a time. To delete XF-AVC clips with an $ mark, delete the $ mark beforehand (A 146) Operating modes: 1 Select the desired clip and then press the joystick to open the clip menu. 2 Select [Delete Clip] and then press the joystick. • The clip information screen appears and it prompts you to confirm the operation. 3 Select [OK] and then press the joystick. • Select [Cancel] instead to cancel the operation. • While the clip is being deleted, the operation cannot be canceled. 4 When the confirmation message appears, press the joystick.

Adding Shot Marks
During playback, you can add a shot mark (
!
) to frames that you want to set apart in an XF-AVC clip.
Adding Shot Marks during Playback
To add a shot mark to a clip during playback or playback pause, you must first set an assignable button to [Add
Shot Mark] in advance.
1 Set an assignable button to [Add Shot Mark] (
A
125).
2 During playback or playback pause, press the assignable button at the point in the clip to add the
shot mark.
A message indicating the shot mark appears on the screen and the shot mark is added to the clip.
Adding a shot mark to a clip during playback will pause the playback.
NOTES
Up to 100 shot marks can be added to a single clip.
There may be up to a 0.5 second delay between the frame shown when you press the assignable button and
the frame to which the camera adds the shot mark.
Deleting All Shot Marks in a Clip from the Index Screen

Select the desired clip and then press the joystick to open the clip menu.

All shot marks in the selected clip are deleted and the screen changes back to the previous index screen.
