Assignable Buttons Using an Assignable Button After you assign a function to one of the assignable buttons, press the button to activate the function. 106 Assignable Functions Functions can be set separately depending on the operating mode. Refer to the following table for assignable functions and available modes. Function name Description A [ DISP.] Switches what onscreen displays are shown. Holding the button pressed down switches the LCD backlight between bright and normal settings. If the Ü Ü Ü Ü 144 LCD backlight is set to dim when you press the button, it will first change to the normal setting. [ Push AF] Activates Push AF. Ü Ü - - 79 [^ Magnification] Turns magnification on/off. Ü Ü - - 77 [ Zebra] Activates zebra patterns in the following sequence: 70%  100%  Off Ü Ü - - 82 [O Peaking] Turns peaking on/off. Ü Ü - - 77 [ Digital Tele-conv.] Turns the digital tele-converter on/off. Ü - - - 73 [ Powered IS] Turns Powered IS on/off. Ü - - - 81 [ ND Filter] Turns the ND filter on/off.
