Recording Audio Microphone Attenuator (MIC Terminal) You can activate the microphone attenuator (20 dB) for a microphone connected to the MIC terminal to prevent audio from being distorted if the 92 audio level is too high. 1 Press the MENU button. 2 Open the [MIC Att.] submenu. [¡ Audio Setup] > [2] > [MIC Att.] 3 Select the desired option and then touch [X]. [¡ Audio Setup] [2] [MIC Att.] [j Off] Options [i On]: [j Off]: The microphone attenuator will be activated at all times to reproduce more faithfully the sound dynamics. The microphone attenuator will be deactivated at all times. Low-Cut Filter (MIC Terminal) When you are recording using a microphone connected to the MIC terminal, you can activate the low-cut filter to reduce the sound of blowing wind, a car's engine and similar ambient sounds. 1 Press the MENU button. 2 Open the [MIC Low Cut] submenu. [¡ Audio Setup] > [2] > [MIC Low Cut] 3 Select the desired option and then touch [X]. [¡ Audio Setup] [2] [MIC Low Cut] [j Off] Microphone Attenuator (Built-in Microphone) You can activate the microphone attenuator (20 dB) for the built-in microphone to prevent audio from being distorted if the audio level is too high. 1 Press the MENU button. 2 Open the [Built-in Mic Att.] submenu. [¡ Audio Setup] > [2] > [Built-in Mic Att.] 3 Select the desired option and then touch [X].
