Security The Security tab contains the Set Password and IP Filter (IPv4) pages. Set Password Purpose: To set or change the password that is required to access the setup parameters of the printer from the Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool. This page can also be displayed by clicking Set Password in the left frame. NOTE: If you forgot your password, initialize NVM (non-volatile memory) to restore the password to the default (NULL). See "Reset Print Server" on page 108. NOTE: When you change the password to lock the operator panel, set the password from Panel Lock Set in the Printer Settings. Values: Administrator Password Sets the password using up to 10 alphanumeric characters. The password will appear as asterisks (*) in the field when it is entered. Re-enter Administrator Password Enter the password again to confirm. Access denial by the Sets the maximum number that the administrator fails to log in.
