NOTE: This procedure assumes that you have completed the removal procedure first. 1. Align the guide holes in the speaker assembly with the guide posts on the base of the computer, then lower the right and left speaker assemblies into place. 2. Replace the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the right and left speaker assemblies to the base of the computer. 3. Insert the cable assembly into the cable guides. 4. Replace the touch pad cover. 5. Replace the system board (see Replacing the E5400 System Board Assembly). 6. Replace the palm rest (see Replacing the E5400 Palm Rest). 7. Replace the optical drive (see Replacing the Optical Drive). 8. Replace the display assembly (see Replacing the E5400 Display Assembly). 9. Replace the keyboard (see Replacing the Keyboard). 10. Replace the hinge cover (see Replacing the Hinge Cover). 11. Replace the processor heat sink (see Replacing the Processor Heat Sink). 12. Replace the fan (see Replacing the Fan). 13. Replacing the E5400 Speaker Assembly
1.
Align the guide holes in the speaker assembly with the guide posts on the base of the computer, then lower the right and left speaker assemblies into
place.
2.
Replace the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the right and left speaker assemblies to the base of the computer.
3.
Insert the cable assembly into the cable guides.
4.
Replace the touch pad cover.
