Align the guide holes in the speaker assembly with the guide posts on the palm rest of the computer, then lower the right and left speaker assemblies into place. 2. Replace the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the right and left speaker assemblies to the base of the computer. 3. Replace the system board (see Replacing the E5500 System Board Assembly). 4. Carefully remove the cable assembly from the cable guides.

Remove the speaker assembly.

Align the guide holes in the speaker assembly with the guide posts on the palm rest of the computer, then lower the right and left speaker assemblies
into place.
2.
Replace the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the right and left speaker assemblies to the base of the computer.
