Installing the processor, When removing the processor

CAUTION: For maximum cooling of the processor, do not touch the heat transfer areas on the heat sink. The oils in your skin can reduce the heat transfer capability of the thermal grease. About this task The following images indicate the location of the processor and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure. Steps 1. Press the release lever down and then push it away from the processor to release it from the securing tab. 2. Extend the release lever completely and open the processor cover. 3. Gently lift the processor from the processor socket on the system board. CAUTION: When removing the processor, do not touch any of the pins inside the socket or allow any objects to fall on the pins in the socket.
