To remove a card (such as a video card) from the PCI Express slot, press the card release lever before trying to remove the card. Caution Do not touch the contacts on the bottom part of the expansion card. Touching the contacts can cause electrostatic damage to the card. 7 Install the new card into the expansion slot. Install the new card into the expansion slot. You can

Reconnect the expansion card cables (if any) using your
notes from Step

Tighten the thumbscrew on the expansion card cover.

Return your computer to its upright position.
