Installing HP Drivers and Utilities After successfully installing and configuring the operating system, you need to install software drivers and utilities that are specific to HP and the installed operating system. HP has made every effort to get the primary drivers included in the supported operating system. In addition, HP provides value-add software drivers, agents, and utilities included in the ProLiant Essentials Foundation Pack. The ProLiant Essentials Foundation Pack contains the SmartStart CD and the Management CD. The procedure for installing this software varies, depending on the installed operating system.
