DO NOT forget to put the VCR into timer recording standby mode again by pressing TIMER after you use the VCR; otherwise, you cannot record the broadcast you want. ● When "AUTO TIMER" is set to "ON" (੬ pg. 37, 38), the timer recording standby mode is automatically engaged when the VCR is turned off. It is temporarily canceled when the VCR is turned on. You do not have to press TIMER to engage or disengage the timer recording standby mode. EN 33 NOTES: ● In case of a power failure after programming, the recorder's memory backup keeps your selections (if the lithium battery is not exhausted). ● Programs that start after midnight must have the next day's date. ● After timer recording is completed, the VCR turns off automatically. ● You can program the timer recording while a regular recording is in progress. ● To timer-record cable channels, be sure to keep the cable box turned on with the correct channel selected.
