Understanding MFP messages Message Meaning Action Load [src] with [size] Occurs when a source is loaded with an incorrect print media size as specified in the Paper Menu. Touch Continue. Load the specified source that is set for the requested size. Touch Automatically select media to override manual requests for Manual Paper and Manual Env for the rest of the print job. All requests for additional pages are automatically overridden, and print media is selected from an automatic source. Touch Cancel Job to cancel the current job if needed. Touch Reset Active Bin to change to another linked bin. Load [src] with [type] [size] Occurs when the MFP requests that a specific media source be loaded with a specific type and size as specified in the Paper Menu, but the current source contains an incorrect media size and type. Touch Continue. Load the specified source that is set for the requested size and type. Touch Cancel Job to cancel the current job if needed. Touch Reset Active Bin to change to another linked bin. Load Staples A new staple cartridge is needed to start or continue printing a job designated for stapling. Touch Continue to clear the message. Staple action is suspended until a staple cartridge is loaded in the printer. Memory full, cannot print faxes The attempt to print the fax jobs is automatically canceled. The Fax code recognizes that the fax job is canceled and does not delete pages in the fax job that have not printed. The Fax code does not attempt to reprint the fax causing the memory error until the MFP goes through a power on reset. Touch Continue to clear the message. Turn the MFP off and then on to reset it. Reattach bin [x] The MFP detects that output bin [x] is missing or installed incorrectly, where x is the number of the bin. This message occurs when pages are formatted when the bin is present, but before the pages are printed. Between the formatting and printing time, the optional bin is removed from the MFP. • Touch Continue to clear the message and continue normal operation without using the specified output bin. • Turn the MFP off, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, reattach the specified bin, connect the power cord to a properly grounded outlet, and then restart the MFP. • Touch Reset Active Bin to change to another linked set of bins. Reattach bins [x]-[y] The MFP detects that output bins x-y are missing or installed incorrectly, where x and y are the numbers of the first and last bin in a group.
