Understanding MFP messages Message 31.yy Replace defective print cartridge Meaning The MFP detects a defective print cartridge within 10-20 seconds after the top cover is closed. 32.yy Replace unsupported print cartridge The MFP detects an unsupported print cartridge within 10-20 seconds after the top cover is closed. 34 Short paper The length of the print media is too short to print the formatted data. 35 Insufficient memory to support Resource Save feature The MFP lacks the memory needed to enable Resource Save.
