Inserting a card Switching cards The card currently in use is displayed on the control panel or monitor. Choose the card you want to record the picture on before taking the picture. The factory default setting is the xD-Picture Card. If only one card is inserted, that card is automatically selected. When using Microdrive, be careful not to subject the camera to vibration or impact. (Special care is needed during recording and playback.) • Do not bang the camera down on the table during recording. • Be careful not to hit the camera against anything when carrying it on your shoulder. • Do not use the camera where the ground is likely to vibrate, such as a construction site. • Do not use the camera in the car while driving along a bumpy road where the camera will be badly shaken. 31
