DVD740VR 4/12/02 12:08 PM Page 28 28 Daylight-Savings Time You may program the DVD/VCR so the VCR clock will automati- cally move forward one hour in April and turn back one hour in October. Daylight-Savings Time is ON when you receive your DVD/VCR. Turn Daylight-Savings Time ON or OFF by following the steps below. Before you begin: q Set the clock. Details are on page 27. q Place the DVD/VCR in VCR mode. Press OUTPUT SELECT so the green VIDEO light appears on the front of the DVD/VCR. Press VCR/TV so the green VCR/TV light appears on the front of the DVD/VCR. 1 Press VCR, then press DISC/MENU. SELECT op CHOOSE B 1 → PROGRAM VCR SET UP TUNER SET UP SET CLOCK 2,3 TO END PUSH EXIT 2 Press PLAY B (o) or STOP C (p) to select SET CLOCK, then press FF g (B). SET CLOCK → SET CLOCK DAYLIGHT SVG TIME [ON] SELECT op CHOOSE B TO END PUSH EXIT MARKER POWER SETUP AUDIO SUBTITLE ANGLE REC/OTR TITLE REPEAT CHANNEL/SKIP CLEAR MODE REPEAT A-B RETURN OUTPUT SELECT DVD VCR DISC MENU OK STOP PLAY REW FF PAUSE TIMER SET 1 23 VCR/TV 4 56 MEMORY 7 89 +10 0 SPEED SEARCH MODE DISPLAY ZOOM SLOW TIME SEARCH STATUS/EXIT 4 3 Press PLAY B (o) or STOP C (p) to select DAYLIGHT SVG TIME. Then, press FF g (B) so OFF (or ON) appears beside DAYLIGHT SVG TIME. SET CLOCK SET CLOCK → DAYLIGHT SVG TIME [ON] SELECT op CHOOSE B TO END PUSH EXIT 4 Press DISPLAY/STATUS/EXIT.
