To set up programmed playback, follow these steps. q Before you begin, place the DVD/VCR in DVD mode. Press OUTPUT SELECT so the red DVD light appears on the front of the DVD/VCR. 1 While playback is stopped, press DVD, then press MODE. The PROGRAM screen will appear. PROGRAM TIME 0:00:00 1/1 -- START: PLAY RANDOM: MODE DELETE: CLEAR EXIT: RETURN Press the Number buttons to enter the number of the first Track that you want to play. 2 q If you enter a wrong Track number, press CLEAR. The 2-3 last Track in the Program will be removed. q Enter single-digit Tracks with a single Number button. For example, for Track three, press the Number 3 button. q For Tracks 10 and above, press the +10 button, then the Number button for the first digit, then the Number button for the second digit. For example, to play Track 26, press the +10 button, then press the Number 2 button, then press the Number 6 button. The total playing time of the Program appears beside TIME at the top of the PROGRAM screen. 4 Press PLAY B (o). The Tracks will play in the order in which you programmed them. The Program will play once. Helpful Hints • You can not combine specific track or random playback with programmed playback. • You may play a Program repeatedly. During programmed playback, press REPEAT so REPEAT [TRACK] or REPEAT [ALL] appears. The current Track or the entire Program will play repeatedly. • To see which Tracks you stored in the Program, press MODE during playback. • Track numbers that are not available on the Audio CD will be rejected and erased. Enter a valid Track number. • Turning off the DVD/VCR or opening the disc tray will erase the Program.

Programmed Playback
You may determine the order in which Tracks will play. The
order that you set is called the Program. To set up programmed
playback, follow these steps.
Before you begin, place the DVD/VCR in DVD mode.
Press OUTPUT SELECT so the red DVD light appears on the
front of the DVD/VCR.

While playback is stopped, press DVD, then press
MODE.
The PROGRAM screen will appear.

Press the Number buttons to enter the number of
the first Track that you want to play.
If you enter a wrong Track number, press CLEAR. The
last Track in the Program will be removed.
Enter single-digit Tracks with a single Number button.
For example, for Track three, press the Number 3 but-
ton.
For Tracks 10 and above, press the +10 button, then the
Number button for the first digit, then the Number but-
ton for the second digit. For example, to play Track 26,
press the +10 button, then press the Number 2 button,
then press the Number 6 button.
