Section 3: Call Functions This section provides procedures for making and answering calls. This section also describes features, such as call logs and call timers, that help you make calls and manage your call time. Making a Call 1. With the phone on, enter the number you wish to call using the keypad. 2. Press Send ( ) to place the call. Three-way Calling Call two other numbers and connect them to your call using three-way calling. 1. In standby mode, enter the number for the first party in your call, then press Send ( ). 2. When connected, press Send ( ) to place the call on hold. 3. Enter the second party's phone number and press Send ( ). 4. When the second party answers, press Send ( ) to connect all three parties. Manual Pause Calling To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it in your Contacts list: 1. In standby mode, enter the number you wish to call. 2. Press Options ( ). The following options display on the screen: • Search: Search for a contact name or number. • Add 2-Sec Pause: Adds a 2-second pause after which dialing resumes. • Add Wait: Adds a hard pause (waits for input from you). • Add From Contact: Select a number from the Contacts list. • Add From Recent Call: Select a number from the Recent Call list. • New Text Msg: Create a new Text message. • New Picture Msg: Create a new Picture message. • New Video Msg: Create a new Video message. 3. Highlight and press the Center Select Key ( ) to select the desired option. 4. Press Send ( ) to call the number. Call Functions 21

Section 3: Call Functions
This section provides procedures for making and answering
calls. This section also describes features, such as call logs and
call timers, that help you make calls and manage your call time.
Making a Call
1.
With the phone on, enter the number you wish to call using
the keypad.
2.
Press
Send
(
) to place the call.
Three-way Calling
Call two other numbers and connect them to your call using
three-way calling.
1.
In standby mode, enter the number for the first party in
your call, then press
Send
(
).
2.
When connected, press
Send
(
) to place the call on
hold.
3.
Enter the second party’s phone number and press
Send
(
).
4.
When the second party answers, press
Send
(
) to
connect all three parties.
Manual Pause Calling
To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it in your
Contacts list:
1.
In standby mode, enter the number you wish to call.
2.
Press
Options
(
). The following options display on the
screen:
• Search
: Search for a contact name or number.
Add 2-Sec Pause
: Adds a 2-second pause after which dialing
resumes.
Add Wait
: Adds a hard pause (waits for input from you).
Add From Contact
: Select a number from the Contacts list.
Add From Recent Call
: Select a number from the Recent Call list.
New Text Msg
: Create a new Text message.
New Picture Msg
: Create a new Picture message.
New Video Msg
: Create a new Video message.
3.
Highlight and press the
Center Select Key

) to select
the desired option.
4.
Press
Send

) to call the number.
