Note: The battery comes only partially charged. To prevent damaging the battery, fully charge it before using your phone for the first time. (For more information, refer to "Charging the Battery" on page 7.) Removing the battery cover Ⅲ Slip your fingernail in the slot and lift up on the cover. Continue to lift the cover away in as illustrated in the diagram. Warning! Use only Samsung-approved charging devices and batteries. Samsung accessories are designed to maximize battery life.
