Configuring Layer 2 Multicast MLD Snooping Configuration 2) Click Apply. 3.1.2 Configuring MLD Snooping for VLANs Before configuring MLD Snooping for VLANs, set up the VLANs that the router ports and the member ports are in. For details, please refer to Configuring 802.1Q VLAN. The switch supports configuring MLD Snooping on a per-VLAN basis. After MLD Snooping is enabled globally, you also need to enable MLD Snooping and configure the corresponding parameters for the VLANs that the router ports and the member ports are in. Choose the menu L2 FEATURES > Multicast > MLD Snooping > Global Config, and click in your desired VLAN entry in the MLD VLAN Config section to load the following page. Figure 3-2 Configure MLD Snooping for VLAN Follow these steps to configure MLD Snooping for a specific VLAN: 1) Enable MLD Snooping for the VLAN, and configure the corresponding parameters.
