Managing System 1 System System 1.1 Overview In System module, you can view the system information and configure the system parameters and features of the switch. 1.2 Supported Features System Info You can view the switch's port status and system information, and configure the device description, system time, and daylight saving time. User Management You can manage the user accounts for login to the switch. There are multiple user types which have different access levels, and you can create different user accounts according to your need. System Tools You can configure the boot file of the switch, backup and restore the configurations, update the firmware, reset the switch, and reboot the switch. EEE EEE (Energy Efficient Ethernet) is used to save power consumption of the switch during periods of low data activity. You can simply enable this feature on ports to allow power reduction. PoE Note: Only T1600G-52PS and TL-SG2428P support PoE feature. Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a remote power supply function. With this function, the switch can supply power to the connected devices over twisted-pair cable. Some devices such as IP phones, access points (APs) and cameras may be located far away from the AC power source in actual use.
