Figure 6-5 Wireless menu 6.6.1 Wireless Settings Selecting Wireless > Wireless Settings will enable you to configure the basic settings for your wireless network on the screen below (Figure 6-6).This page allows you to configure the wireless mode for your device. Six operation modes are supported here, including Access Point, Client, Repeater and Bridge with AP. The available setting options for each operation mode are different from those of the other. 1) Access Point: This mode allows wireless stations to access this device. Figure 6-6 Wireless Settings in Access Point mode ¾ Wireless Network Name (also called SSID) - Identifies your wireless network name. Create a name and make sure all wireless points in the wireless network with the same SSID. The default SSID is TP-LINK_POCKET_3040_XXXXXX (XXXXXX indicates the last unique six -183-
