Direct sunlight or lighting (from an inverter type of fluorescent lamp, strobe light, etc.) is striking the remote control sensor of this unit. The batteries are weak. The remote control ID of the remote control and this unit do not match. The remote control code is not correctly set. Even if the remote control code is correctly set, there are some models that do not respond to the remote control. The remote control will function within a maximum range of 6 m (20 ft) and no more than 30 degrees offaxis from the front panel. Adjust the lighting angle or reposition this unit. Replace all batteries. Match the remote control ID of this unit and the remote control. Set the remote control code correctly using "List of remote control codes" at the end of this manual. Try setting another code of the same manufacturer using "List of remote control codes" at the end of this manual. If this unit does not work when you press jCursor, do the following. When the key does not work during DVD disc menu operation: press the dInput selection keys on the remote control again. When the key does not work during Option menu or Setup menu operation: press the key applicable for the current menu operation again.
