Advanced 101 DDNS The Router provides a list of dynamic DNS providers for you to choose from. Dynamic Domain Name Server (DDNS) enables you to map a static domain name to a dynamic IP address. This function allows you to create a hostname that points to your dynamic IP or static IP address or URL. Before you set up DDNS, you must obtain an account, password or key and static domain name from your DDNS provider. The Router supports five DDNS providers: ■ DynDNS.org ■ TZO.com ■ Dt DNS.com ■ No-IP.com ■ Zoneedit.com Figure 81 Dynamic Domain Name Server (DDNS) Screen 1 Check Enable DDNS. 2 Select the provider, and then enter the necessary information provided by your DDNS provider. 3 Click Apply.

DDNS
The Router provides a list of dynamic DNS providers for you to choose
from. Dynamic Domain Name Server (DDNS) enables you to map a static
domain name to a dynamic IP address. This function allows you to create
a hostname that points to your dynamic IP or static IP address or URL.
Before you set up DDNS, you must obtain an account, password or key
and static domain name from your DDNS provider. The Router supports
five DDNS providers:
DynDNS.org
TZO.com
Dt DNS.com
No-IP.com
Zoneedit.com
