Advanced 105 QoS Settings The QoS (Quality of Service) function allows you to differentiate your network traffic and provide it with high-priority forwarding service. The bandwidth gap between LAN and WAN may significantly degrade performance of critical network applications, such as VoIP, gaming, and VPN. This QoS function allows you to classify traffic of applications and provides them with differentiated services (Diffserv). Figure 85 QoS Settings Screen 1 Check the Enable QoS box, and enter the value for WAN Out Bandwidth. 2 Define the minimum percentage of bandwidth for each type of traffic. 3 Check the corresponding box to allow more bandwidth allocation. 4 Click Apply. Note that once QoS is enabled, a new tab, Traffic mapping, will become visible, see Figure 86.

QoS Settings
