u& [ Jr lr FM 75 c1 [ 10 CONNECTIONS To stand the AM antenna on a surface + u Fix the claw to the slot. To position the antennas AM loop antenna: Position to find the best direction and posikon for radio reception. FM feeder antenna: Extend this antenna horizontally in a T-shape and fix its ends to the wall with cellophane tape, etc. m q Do not leave objects generating magnetism near the speakers. q Do not bring the FM antenna near metal objects or curtain rails. q Do not bring the AM antenna near other optional equipment, the stereo system itself, the AC cord or speaker cords, since noise will be picked up. q Do not unwind the AM antenna wire. CONNECTING AN OUTDOOR ANTENNA For better FM reception, use of an outdoor antenna is recommended. Connect the outdoor antenna to the FM 75,~'terminals. +u To connect other optional equipments+ page 56. POSITIONING THE SPEAKERS Position the speakers to make the most of the DSP surround effect. Standard positioning + u @ Front speakers @ Surround speakers Place the surround speakers behind the listening area. To mount the surround speakers on the wall + u Mount each speaker on a s~ot that can hold its weight. Sound is not heard from the surround speakers when the DSP surround is set to off.
