Replacing a Disk Drive
Two LEDs—indicating disk drive status and disk drive activity—appear on the
front of the enclosure below each disk drive.
If a disk drive fails, the status light below the failed drive glows amber.
Overview of the Procedure
Back up your system contents.
Remove the front bezel.
Physically remove the failed disk drive from its bay in the server and install a
replacement.
Replace the front bezel.
Configure the replacement disk drive.
