4. Control Panel Data LED The Data LED is a light which shows the printer status. LED indication On Blinking Off Meaning Data is in the printer memory. Receiving or processing data. No remaining data in the memory. LCD The LCD shows the current printer status. When you use the control panel buttons, the LCD will change. If there are any problems, the LCD shows the proper error message, maintenance message or call service message so you will know that you need to take action. For more information about these messages, see LCD messages on page 92. Back light Light Off Green (General) Red (Error) Orange (Setting) Meaning The printer is off or in sleep status.
