CAUSE •This message appears if the CANCEL key is pressed while data is being transmitted from the computer to this unit in Interface mode. •This message appears if the end of the tape cannot be detected during multi-color printing. •This message appears if a character, symbol, return or new block is entered while the cursor is located in a bar code field. •This message appears if the cursor is located in a bar code field and a text format (font, size width, style, underlining and framing, or color) key is pressed. •This message appears if a text file is recalled and joined to the current massage while the cursor is located in a bar code field. •This message appears if a high-voltage adaptor is being used. •This message appears in any mode when the tape compartment cover is open. REMEDY •Press any key other then the CODE, SHIFT, ALT or CAPS keys, then try again. •Pull out some excess tape and hold the end of the tape while turning the tape roll to tighten the tape in the cassette. •Align the end of the tape with the edge of the cassette, then try using the multi-color printing function again. Press the CODE and 6 keys to skip colors and return to the point where printing stopped. •Move the cursor or delete the bar code field before entering the character, symbol, return or new block. •Move the cursor or delete the bar code field before pressing the text format key. •Move the cursor or delete the field before recalling the text files. •Remove the high-voltage adaptor and install the optional 7.0V 1.2A AC adaptor. •Close the compartment cover. 120
