Making the Most of the Printer Driver 9 Click the OK button to close the Printer Properties dialog box and start the print job. Note • The Monochrome Effects setting can be used with the Simulate Illustration setting. Setting Simulate Illustration • When Background Printing is disabled in the Page Layout tab, the Monochrome Effects setting is grayed out and cannot be used. • When Grayscale Print is enabled in the Main tab, the Monochrome Effects setting is grayed out and cannot be used.
