Using Maintenance Functions I Aligning the Print Head Each time you replace a BJ cartridge or switch BJ cartridges for a special print job, you must align the print head to ensure optimum results in printing. Print head alignment 1 Open the Printer Properties dialog box, then click the Maintenance tab. 2 Click the Print Head Alignment icon in the Test Prints box. 3 When a confirmation message appears, make sure that the printer is turned on and one sheet of plain paper is loaded, and then click the OK button.
