Advanced Operations Part 4 Adjusting the printing density Printing may be too dark or too light in some cases, depending on the environment in which the printer is used and the characteristics of the print media. In such cases, adjust the printing density. The printing density can be adjusted to five levels. ex. Printing on a tube is too light, so increase the printing density. 1 Press [Func]. • The Settings display appears. 2 Press [▲] or [▼] to select "Density adjustment", and then press [Enter]. • The Density adjustment display appears. 3 Press [▲] or [▼] to select "Print density", and then press [Enter]. • The Print density selection display appears. 4 Press [►] twice to select "5". • Print density "1" is the lightest print density, and print density "5" is the darkest print density. Press [◄] to make the printing density lighter. 5 Press [Enter]. • The display returns to the character input display. Maximum density is now selected. The [▲] indicates that the current print density is "3" (the standard setting). 113

Adjusting the printing density
Printing may be too dark or too light in some cases, depending on the environment in which the printer is used
and the characteristics of the print media. In such cases, adjust the printing density. The printing density can be
adjusted to five levels.
ex. Printing on a tube is too light, so increase the printing density.

The Settings display appears.

The Density adjustment display appears.
