5 Remove the label tape if it is loaded. If the label tape winds itself around some parts and therefore it cannot be removed, proceed to step 6 without removing it. If ribbon cassette or label tape cannot be removed, close the cover and keep pressing the [►] or [◄] key to check whether the ribbon cassette or label tape can be removed. Open/close the cover and keep pressing the [►] or [◄] key repeatedly until the ribbon cassette or label tape can be removed. 8 Feed the tube reverse (by pressing the [►] key) or forward (by pressing the [◄] key) repeatedly to pull out the printing media completely. 9 Cut out the bent or damaged portion of the jammed printing media or the printed portion of the printing media if it exists. • Thus, the printing media removal procedure is completed. 10 Make preparations for printing (Part 2 "Basic Operations"). Open the cover, load the removed ribbon cassette, tube, or label tape, and then close the cover. Press the [Canc] key to return to the character input display. 125
