Ò Using the Self-Timer When the person shooting wishes to join in a group photo, the self-timer can be used to shoot. Approximately 10 seconds after the shutter button is pressed, the camera will take the photo. Press the p button. Select Ò. ● Press the op buttons or turn the  dial to select Ò, then press the m button. X Once set, Ò will appear. Shoot. ● Press the shutter button halfway to focus on the subject, then press fully. X When the self-timer starts, the lamp blinks and the self-timer sound plays. X Two seconds before the shutter releases, the lamp and sound speed up (the lamp remains lit when the flash will fire). ● To return to the original setting, select in Step 2. You can change the delay time and number of shots taken (p. 75). 61
