Defining SNMP Users The SNMP Users Page provides information for creating SNMP groups, and assigning SNMP access control privileges to SNMP groups. Groups allow network managers to assign access rights to specific device features, or feature aspects. 1. Click System > SNMP > Security > Users. The SNMP Users Page opens: SNMP Users Page The SNMP Users Page contains the following fields. • User Name - Displays the user-defined group to which access control rules are applied. The field range is up to 30 characters. • Group Name - Displays the user-defined group to which access control rules are applied. • Engine ID - Indicates the local device engine ID. • Authentication - Indicates the Authentication method used. 2.
