17 Chapter SGE2000/SGE2000P Gigabit Ethernet Switch Reference Guide • Current - Displays the current at which the cable is operating. • Output Power - Indicates the rate at which the output power is transmitted. • Input Power - Indicates the rate at which the input power is transmitted. • Transmitter Fault - Indicates if a fault occurred during transmission. • Loss of Signal - Indicates if a signal loss occurred in the cable. • Data Ready - Indicates the data status. Configuring Port Mirroring Configuring Port Mirroring monitors and mirrors network traffic by forwarding copies of incoming and outgoing packets from one port to a monitoring port. Port mirroring can be used as diagnostic tool and/or a debugging feature. Port mirroring also enables switch performance monitoring. Network administrators configure port mirroring by selecting a specific port to copy all packets, and different ports from which the packets are copied. To enable port mirroring: 1. Click Admin > Diagnostics > Port Mirroring.
