EPSON FX-890/2190 1.3.7 Bi-D Adjustment Refer to the following flowchart for the Bi-D adjustment. start Turning the printer on while pressing Pause switch. The guide to adjust Bi-d. alignment in this mode is printed and first alignment pattern is printed. [ Step A ] Select most closely alignment number by pressing Item ↓ (Font) and Item ↑ (Pitch) switches. Font LEDs show the pattern number which is selected at that time. The selestion is advanced one by one as the switch is pressed, and the combination of On/Off/Blink of those three LEDs is also changed according to the selection. [ Step B ] Fix the selected number by pressing Set (Tear Off/Bin) switch. Selected number is fixed and next alignment pattern is printed. Repeat Steps A and B until finishing Bi-d. adjustment for NLQ mode. Following adjustment is executed. 1. Bi-d. adjustment for high speed draft mode 2. Bi-d. adjustment for draft mode 3. Bi-D Adjustment
Refer to the following flowchart for the Bi-D adjustment.

Turning the printer on while pressing

adjust Bi-d. alignment in this mode is printed and first alignment
pattern is printed.
Select most closely alignment number by pressing

switches. Font LEDs show the
pattern number which is selected at that time. The selestion is
advanced one by one as the switch is pressed, and the
combination of On/Off/Blink of those three LEDs is also
changed according to the selection.
Fix the selected number by pressing
Set (Tear Off/Bin)
switch.
Selected number is fixed and next alignment pattern is printed.
Repeat Steps A and B until finishing Bi-d. adjustment for NLQ
mode.
Following adjustment is executed.
1. Bi-d. adjustment for high speed draft mode
2. Bi-d. adjustment for draft mode
3. Bi-d. adjustment for NLQ mode
Turn the printer off.
The setting is stored into EEPROM.
