Starting the SETUP Program Whenever you start your computer, you see the following message: Press to enter SETUP If the system detects an error in your system configuration, you will see an error message followed by this message: Press to resume, to Setup In either case, press F2 to run the SETUP program to verify or change your configuration. The SETUP program displays the Main Menu. From this menu, you can select the various SETUP options to identify your system's configuration and then save your new values to CMOS. If you change your mind, you can ignore any changes you have made and restore the default values stored in ROM or load the values previously stored in CMOS. The table below lists the keys you can use to perform SETUP operations. Starting the SETUP Program
Whenever you start your computer, you see the following
message:
Press <F2> to enter SETUP
If the system detects
an
error in your system configuration, you
will see an error message followed by this message:
Press <F1> to resume,
<F2> to Setup
In either case, press F2 to run the SETUP program to verify or
change your configuration.
The SETUP program displays the Main Menu. From this menu,
you can select the various SETUP options to identify your
system’s configuration and then save your new values to
CMOS. If you change your mind, you can ignore any changes
you have made and restore the default values stored in ROM or
load the values previously stored in CMOS.
The table below lists the keys you can use to perform SETUP
operations.
