Editing the Scan Mode Settings The scan mode definitions provide pixel depth and halftone values used to scan your image. Epson TWAIN allows you to modify or delete existing definitions or create your own definitions to suit your needs. Select Scan Mode from the Edit pull down menu. Follow these steps to add a scan mode: 1. Select a scan mode similar to the mode you want to define. 2.
