Editing the Scan Mode Settings The scan mode definitions provide pixel depth and halftone values used to scan your image. Epson TWAIN allows you to modify or delete existing definitions or create your own definitions to suit your needs. Select Scan Mode from the Edit pull down menu. Follow these steps to add a scan mode: 1. Select a scan mode similar to the mode you want to define. 2. The scan mode definitions provide pixel depth and halftone
values used to scan your image. Epson TWAIN allows you to
modify or delete existing definitions or create your own
definitions to suit your needs.

To Add a Scan Mode
Rather than modifying the Epson-supplied scan modes, you
will probably want to create your own definitions. Follow these
