Note You may find it easier to plug in the cable connector if you first remove the option card connector board and diskette drive ribbon cable. To remove the option card connector board, see page 2-21. To disconnect the diskette drive ribbon cable, grasp the cable connector and pull it straight out from the system board connector so you do not bend the pins; do not pull on the cable. 4. Make sure the holes in the cable connector fit over all the pins in the system board connector; then push in the cable connector. Caution If you do not correctly align the holes with the pins, you could severely damage your system board when you push in the cable connector. 5. If you removed the option card connector board and diskette drive ribbon cable, replace them now. To connect the diskette drive ribbon cable, align the tab on the cable connector with the notch in the system board connector. Make sure the holes in the cable connector fit over all the pins in the system board connector and push in the cable connector. Then replace the option card connector board as described on page 2-22.
