Cleaning the Pressure Rollers Clean the pressure rollers if they become dirty. If ink remains on the rollers, it could transfer to your printouts. 1. Turn off the product, wait for the LCD screen to turn off, and unplug both power cables. If the optional drying system is installed, unplug the power cable for it also. 2. Wait for one minute, then open the front cover and raise the media loading lever. 3. Dampen a soft cloth with water and wring it out thoroughly. 4. Wrap the damp cloth around your finger as shown. 108
Cleaning the Pressure Rollers
Clean the pressure rollers if they become dirty. If ink remains on the rollers, it could transfer to your
printouts.
1.
Turn off the product, wait for the LCD screen to turn off, and unplug both power cables. If the
optional drying system is installed, unplug the power cable for it also.

Wait for one minute, then open the front cover and raise the media loading lever.
3.
Dampen a soft cloth with water and wring it out thoroughly.
4.
Wrap the damp cloth around your finger as shown.
