XX is the jam code, Y is the device number, and Z is the device type. Possible locations include: q TRAY 1 q TRAY 2 q TRAY 3 Remove jammed media from the specified location. (See "Jam causes" on page 205.) Note This jam error message also occurs when the media pickup system fails to feed media into the printer (known as a "mis-pick"). If there is no jammed media, check the pickup roller and separation pad in the appropriate tray. If the message persists after all jams have been cleared, a sensor might be stuck or broken. Check all sensors and replace broken sensors. A jam has occurred in the specified location. XX is the jam code, Y is the device number, and Z is the device type. X is the number of the tray: 2 = tray 2 3 = tray 3. Replace the rollers. The printer received more data than can fit in its available memory. You might have tried to transfer too many macros, soft fonts, or complex graphics. Press (SELECT button) to print the transferred data (some data might be lost), and then simplify the print job or install additional memory. The data (dense text, rules, raster or vector graphics) sent to the printer was too complex. 1 Press (SELECT button) to print the transferred data.
