Clean the document feeder pickup rollers and separation pad If the product document feeder experiences paper-handling problems, such as jams or multiple-page feeds, clean the document feeder rollers and separation pad. 1. Open the document feeder cover. 2. Use a moist, lint-free cloth to wipe both pickup rollers and the separation pad to remove dirt. 3. Close the document feeder cover. Clean the paper path During the printing process, paper, toner, and dust particles can accumulate inside the product. Over time, this buildup can cause print-quality problems such as toner specks or smearing. This product has a cleaning mode that can correct and prevent these types of problems.
