Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 37). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 37). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 39). When you replace the system board, be sure to remove the following components (as applicable) from the defective system board and install them on the replacement system board: ● Solid-state drive (see Solid-state drive on page 32). ● Memory modules (see Memory modules on page 34). ● WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 40). Remove the system board: NOTE: All flat cable connectors are covered with a piece of Mylar to prevent accidental disconnection. Be sure to replace this Mylar during reassembly. 1. Disconnect the following cables from the system board: ● Mylar and antenna cable from the soldered headset module (1) ● Display cable (2) (ZIF) ● Left fan cable (3) ● Speaker cable (4) ● Audio board cable (ZIF) (5) System board with heat sink 49

Remove the system board:
NOTE:
