2. Move the carriage to its service position; but do not leave the carriage out of its home position too long. 3. Turn off the printer in the correct way for maintenance operations: see Turn the printer off on page 125. 4. Unscrew the felts and wicks retainers as indicated. Installation 1. Replace the required parts (foams and/or wicks). 2. Reassemble, close the window and switch the printer on again in order to move carriage to its capping position. 3.
