Changing Your Workstation's Hardware Configuration Installing Storage Devices 2 Disconnect the power, SCSI and CD Audio cables from the system board and the backplane, as shown in Figure 25. When disconnecting the floppy cable use the following procedure: a Lift the locking ring on the connector to the up, or unlocked position. b While holding the locking ring in the unlocked position, pull the cable out of the connector. 3 Remove SCSI terminators from rear panel SCSI connectors (if necessary). 4 Remove the storage tray retaining screw, as shown in Figure 25. Disconnect the power, SCSI and CD Audio cables from the system board and the
backplane, as shown in Figure 25.
When disconnecting the floppy cable use the following procedure:
a
Lift the locking ring on the connector to the up, or unlocked position.
b
While holding the locking ring in the unlocked position, pull the cable out of
the connector.

Remove SCSI terminators from rear panel SCSI connectors (if necessary).

Remove the storage tray retaining screw, as shown in Figure 25.
