NOTICE: Changing Your Workstation's Hardware Configuration Replacing the Battery 6 Lift the clip and slip the battery out of its holder, as shown in Figure 60. Note the orientation of the battery. Make sure that you put the new battery in place with the positive (+) side facing up. Figure 60 CAUTION: ATTENTION: Removing the Battery 7 Insert the new battery in the holder with the positive (+) side facing up. (Only use HP part number 1420-0314 or equivalent.) Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Lift the clip and slip the battery out of its holder, as shown in Figure 60.
NOTICE:
Note the orientation of the battery. Make sure that you put the new battery
in place with the positive (+) side facing up.

Insert the new battery in the holder with the positive (+) side facing up. (Only use
HP part number 1420-0314 or equivalent.)
