After successful execution of a DEVICE CONFIGURATION FREEZE LOCK command, all DEVICE CONFIGURATION SET, DEVICE CONFIGURATION FREEZE LOCK, DEVICE CONFIGURATION IDENTIFY, and DEVICE CONFIGURATION RESTORE commands are aborted by the device. The DEVICE CONFIGURATION FREEZE LOCK condition is cleared by a power-down. The DEVICE CONFIGURATION FREEZE LOCK condition is not cleared by hardware or software reset. If the device has executed a previous DEVICE CONFIGURATION FREEZE LOCK command since powerup, the device returns command aborted. 7.5.4. If DEVICE CONFIGURATION FREEZE LOCK is set or if a host protected area has been set by a SET MAX ADDRESS command or a SET MAX ADDRESS EXT command, the device returns command aborted.
