Security Erase Prepare [F3h] Task File Registers Command LBA High LBA Mid LBA Low Device/Head Sector Count Features 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 F6h XX XX XX X X X DRV X X X X XX XX The SECURITY ERASE PREPARE command shall be issued immediately before the SECURITY ERASE UNIT command to enable device erasing and unlocking. This command is to prevent accidental erasure of the device. Device returns Aborted command error if the device is in Frozen mode. 7.5.30. The following table defines the content of this sector of information. If the password does not match, then the device rejects the command with an Aborted error.
